After struggling for years with money and budgeting, I began to wonder why my budget wasn’t working for me. It was clear my money wasn’t going where it was supposed to—but where was it going?
Where Was The Money Going
I looked through all the transactions from previous months to try to identify what my money was being spent on. As I did, I began to see trends in my spending. When I asked others, the trends seemed not only unique to me, but applicable to all those that struggle with overspending.
Spending Types
I have identified six main spending types, which represent behaviors that trigger overspending. I call them The Spending Types.
